Volodymyr Lytvyn, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is for the rejection of quota principles regarding the appointing in the Ukrainian Government. It was declared by him on Monday in the course of the program "Svoboda Slova" on ICTV television channel, asked regarding a number of dismissals in the Government.
"My personal opinion is that we need rejection of quota principles in the course of the appointments to different offices", V. Lytvyn declared and emphasised that it is non-sense when the offices in the Cabinet of Ministers are divided in such a way. "I would not like, as all of the present in this hall, to work in the Government that is fragmentary one", he stated.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine emphasised that the appointments should be done exclusively according to the professional qualities and responsibility of the candidate. He is convinced that it is not the time not, for the political appointments in the Government. "Our life today has the manual management, thus, a lot depends from the personality", V. Lytvyn explained.
